The Nastiest Drink In The World

Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. | Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

VITAL CHILDREN'S THEATRE, recently honored with an AWARD FOR OVERALL EXCELLENCE by the Off-Off Broadway Review, is pleased to announce the third production of its season, THE NASTIEST DRINK IN THE WORLD with book and lyrics by MARK LOEWENSTERN, music by JOHN GREGOR and directed by CARRIE LIBLING. THE NASTIEST DRINK IN THE WORLD runs Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., January 4th through February 23rd.

In this fun retelling of an old folk tale, audiences become an active part of King Fredipus's kingdom and once they hear a few of the king's outrageous laws, they quickly learn that silliness reigns. The strong-willed Fredipus has assembled a court of advisors who tolerate his impractical rules, shield him from any criticism, and shower him with undue praise. Finally, a newcomer to the court decides that enough is enough and devises a juicy plan to help the king swallow his pride. THE NASTIEST DRINK IN THE WORLD shows us not to be afraid to say what we know is right!

Featured in the cast are DIANNA DIPALMA, LEE OVERTREE, MATTHEW WELLS, AARON WALTERS and KELLY HAYES. The stage manager is LISA WEBB.

The final production of VITAL CHILDREN'S THEATRE is CALLING ALL TOYS! In this original musical, a selfish girl's misfit toys teach her a thing or two about gratitude. . . and that it isn't always a bad thing to be a little different. CALLING ALL TOYS! performs Saturdays and Sundays March 8th through April 27th.

Tickets to all shows are $14.00, reduced admission with a FAMILY FUN PASS. Reservations can be made online or by calling (212) 592-4508. The theatre is located at 432 West 42nd Street, 3rd Floor, between 9th and 10th Avenues. Vital Children's productions are also available for PRIVATE BIRTHDAY PARTIES both at the theatre as well as off-site locations.
