SPECIAL WEEKDAY PERFORMANCES OF
THE BUTTERFLY GIRL

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the addition of a special weekday performance of The Butterfly Girl on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th at 11:00 am. School is out and parents and care-givers will be looking for fun activities for their children. Vital is adding this show at a special performance price of only $20.00 per ticket.

Regular performances continue Saturdays and Sundays through November 16th. School/Group Performances are available at Vital Theatre during the run of each show. This special weekday performance tickets are $20.00. For regular performances tickets start at $30. The Butterfly Girl, appropriate for ages 2 to 7.

Velma Gratch is excited to start first grade, but when she does she finds herself overshadowed by her older sisters! While searching for a way to stand out, Velma discovers she has a passion for butterflies! When one lands on her finger, she's in heaven! But what is she to do when it doesn't fly away? A charming story of a girl and a butterfly, and Velma's metamorphosis into something unique and special. Book and lyrics are by Michelle Elliott, music and lyrics are by Danny Larsen and direction is by Linda Ames Key.

The perennially popular production Pinkalicious, The Musical with book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann and music and lyrics by John Gregor returns this season. The production opens November 1st and will perform at Vital on select Saturdays at 3:30pm through April 26th. Tickets are $30 for regular seats and $40 for premium seats.

Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.

Throughout the year, VITAL THEATRE COMPANY offers Performance Camps for children, led by Camp Director Elise Reynard. Junior Performance Camps are week long theatre skills camps which culminate in a final musical sharing for family and friends and are open to children ages 4 - 6. Play In A Day camps take place on one weekend day from 10am - 3pm in which campers create a performance for family and friends followed by a reception and autograph signing. VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is dedicated to producing entertaining and educational theatre for young audiences.
