You know Vital Theatre Company as the producer of the popular musical
adaptations of Pinkalicious,
Fancy Nancy,
Angelina Ballerina,
Uncle Pirate,
The Bully and many more. Vital Theatre Company also hosts the popular
Play-in-a-Day and Junior Performance Camps. Our Vital Voices
Arts-in-Education program has had great success transforming Brooklyn
Theatre Arts High School, Fordham High School for the Arts and Bronxdale
High School, and in creating many engaging partnerships here in
Manhattan with schools like PS 199, PS 290 and PS 452.
Vital Theatre Company needs your help now to continue our important work.
In the past, almost 96% of Vital Theatre Company's operating revenue
was generated from ticket sales, touring and education programs. However, increases in rent,
payroll costs and health care, coupled with decreasing Federal, State, City
and Foundation funding, mean that ticket sales are no longer enough.
Vital Theatre Company is no longer able to maintain its
operations or its facilities without your help.
After 16 years, the last 11 at the beautiful and intimate McGinn/Cazale
Theater on Manhattan's Upper West Side, Vital Theatre Company is in danger
of losing its home. A home where thousands of children have had the
incredible opportunity to experience live theatre for the very first time.
Without your immediate Financial support, Vital Theatre
Company will no longer be able to continue its
award-winning programming.
If any of Vital Theatre Company's programming has had an impact on
your family, we strongly urge you to please consider making a contribution.
Only with your support can you and your family and others in our community
continue to reap the benefits of having a professional, live theatre right
here in our neighborhood.
